Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are faithful replicas of the original DS Pokémon game. However, Grand Underground has undergone the biggest changes and has undergone numerous updates, including new Pokémon capture opportunities and the ability to dig rare statues for your secret base. Any statue you dug up in the big underground can be placed in the secret base. Just interact with the sphere on the right to start placing them. For example, the Pikachu statue will increase your chances of finding an electric Pokémon. Add more electric Pokémon statues to increase these opportunities. The statue list will tell you how many statues you have and how much space they occupy when they are placed. Rare statues are listed separately from their regular statues.

You can also expand your secret base to accommodate more statues by talking to specific hiker NPCs found underground. But you need to pay for them with the stones you find. By placing more statues, you can increase the likelihood of encountering certain types of Pokémon. It will really help you fill in the national pictorial book.

By digging the walls of the big underground, you can find evolution stones, fragments, plates, Pokémon statues, etc. If you find rare green Pokémon statues and place them in your secret base, you will increase your chances of encountering certain types of Pokémon.

Check the map in the upper left corner and go to any location with a small yellow marker. When you get close, press the R key to send out a wave. If you get close enough, this will show a yellow flash on the wall. Go to sparks and press A. Then, the choice is to start the mining process.

The statue occupies six spaces when excavated and is easier to find than many other objects. An ordinary box is yellow, with element symbols in the middle. Pokémon of the type that matches the hidden terrain tends to appear in these locations. For example, you might see a hound in a volcanic cave and a Psyduck in a still water cave. Leaving Pokémon Hideaway and returning immediately may result in a Pokémon completely different from the first time you saw it. This is all the Pokémon hiding places we have found so far.
